Join Feed the Children’s Short-Term Volunteer Mission
Feed The Children pursues countless agendas on how to make an impact in the society through charity and voluntarism. As part of its mission, Feed The Children invites people to join Builders For Children, a Feed The Children project that allows everyone, whether individuals or groups, to volunteer in short-term missions that help meet the realistic needs of people in distressed scenarios in growing countries.
Each mission trip spotlights a practical agenda in the populace, like restoring and refurbishing a church, school, dormitory or feeding center. The Feed The Children mission journey also offers numerous occasions for team members to establish relationships with the people residing in the community.
The group’s mission includes providing food and meals, educational outreach, sports camps, arts and crafts projects, Bible schools and other community building projects.
Builders for Children lineups have spread out to offer help in communities in Africa and Latin America. For the year 2010, Builders for Children already have trips set for Honduras (January), Guatemala (February), Honduras (in March and once again in June), Nicaragua (two weeks in July), and in September 2009, Kenya/Malawi.
Aside from the above mentioned activities, there are other opportunities for individuals and groups to help out. Further information about this life changing opportunity is available on Feed The Children’s Web site, www.feedthechildren.org.
