1. Make two lists of Wood.

Each 500mm long

45mm wide

25mm thick.

The lists needs to be completely straight and even. Make sure they are witout twigs in the material.
These lists of wood may become one of your most important tools in your workshop.

2. Position the lists

Lay the lists opposite of the direction of the wood in your piece. One at each end. This will provide you with two reference points.

3. Measure

Take a couple of steps back and aim. The two lists should appear parallel, if they do then the piece is straight. Congratulations! This is what you want. Unfortunately that is not always the case - If it`s not straight move on to step 4.

4. Mark it

If the wood is not straight take a pencile and mark where the wood is elevated. Then scrubb down. An important note though, do not remvoe too much at a time. better to go slowly then to end up having the hole piece renderd useless due to beeing in a hurry.

5. Re-check

The last and most important step is to re-check. Repeat step 3-5 until you are completely satisfied.

When it is straight mark the side so you know that side is straight turn the piece and do the hole process on the other side.

Crimping is the process of securing your wire to a clasp or creating a stop for a bead on wire. When beading jewelry you will use the crimping skill all the time. The best part about this beading skill is that it is very easy to learn.

You will need:

Crimp tube
Stringing wire
Crimping Pliers

Step 1. Thread the wire through the crimp tube, through the ring on the clasp

Step 2. Thread the wire back through the crimp tube

Step 3. Lay the crimp tube on the back portion of the crimping pliers

Step 4. Close the crimping pliers to squeeze the crimp tube flat

Step 5. Lay the flattened crimp tube on its side in the front space of the pliers

Step 6. Close the crimping pliers again to squeeze the crimp tube in half again

—————————–
Visit http://www.beadpatternsonline.com to read this article with easy to follow diagrams.
—————————–

You can cover a crimped bead with a crimp cover. This gives the illusion of another bead instead of seeing flattened metal. You can also find crimp beads that have a loop already on them. So instead of looping the wire through the clasp, you would crimp you wire, and cover the crimp bead with the crimp cover. Use a jump ring to hook the crimp cover and clasp together.

Happy Beading!

The holiday season is a magical time and without exception each and every one of us wants it to turn out being as nice as you can possibly make it - a section of the festive tradition is proudly displaying a merrily decked out dwelling to tip your hat to the Christmas period. Too often houses are cursed with tawdry baubles and Christmas lights wrapped around a shoddy Xmas tree. Log on and browse through the John Lewis website and inject the shine back into Xmas.

At Xmas time the predominant feature of almost every rooms is the Xmas tree - decorated with X-mas lights, adornments and chocolates, sheltering the many coloured gifts underneath; it’s the first thing nearly all folk perceive when they walk-in-to the flat and for that reason you will like it to turn out to be awesome. Shopping from the terrific products on display at the John Lewis web-site couldn’t conceivably be made any more simplistic - elementary navigation at the left hand side and at the top of each and every web-page makes the process of clicking through to the specific thing you want to look at absolutely painless.

Patently, when you have picked out your ideal Christmas tree - and also the perfect X-mas ornaments to compliment it - you will defiantly like to pick out some Xmas decorations for the rest of the room. These Xmas decorations could well come in the form of X-mas lights, hanging displays or tinsel to name but a small fraction. Navigating the Xmas hustle and bustle to pick these things out may well be a big hassle and the additional cost of delivering the goods from some web-sites can transform that terrific price you perceive to a thing more akin to something you would discover on the high street.

Don’t worry - with John Lewis you will not simply sidestep the unnecessary hustle and bustle of the X-mas crowds by buying from the relative privacy of your own abode, but you will also obtain absolutely free normal home delivery for all items - with next-day home delivery available to you if you are in a massive rush. Not only that but free product returns are also available, so you can really shop online in total confidence. Therefore, why not let John Lewis help make this Xmas season a really special one. Find Christmas tree lights at the John Lewis site. It is a great website that should be able to save you time.

Perfect gift-wrapping for children’s gifts!

This is a great way to recycle clear plastic soda or water bottles instead of a using gift bag. For a fun idea, mail the bottle with a gift or party invitation inside.

For each gift bottle you will need:

- A clean 2-liter clear soda bottle
- Craft knife (or a box knife)
- Acrylic paint, permanent markers or stickers
- Curly ribbon or raffia
- 1 1/2-inch wide ribbon or torn fabric, optional

Use the knife to cut a slit in the bottle that is large enough to squeeze your gifts inside. You may need a bit of patience to get your gifts inside the bottle. It’s going to be a tight fit!

Decorate the bottle!

For a baby shower gift, you might paint hearts, lambs, baby bottles, or any other baby items. For little boys, you might add cars, trucks, blocks or some sports related pictures.

If you need it quick, just add some stickers and use permanent markers to decorate.

Attach curly ribbon to the top. You can use the ribbon for a bow on top to hide the cap or just cover the cap with the wide ribbon and tie the curly ribbon around it.

Use your imagination!

These bottles can also be mailed:

Slip an envelope or index card inside with the mailing address and tape it to the inside of the bottle. Pack the bottle with the gift, plus brightly colored confetti or crumpled tissue paper. Use clear postage tape to seal up the slit.

A very cute gift presentation!

Making glow in the dark candles is fun, easy and neat to do. A great project to do with the kids on a cold rainy day this is fun for all age groups. Kids love to create and there is a lot of room to create here. I will approach this article and break it down into steps.

First Step, Supervision

I do not recommend letting children do this by themselves. You will be working with hot materials and perhaps a stove to melt your gel. So be very available. Besides it is really about spending time with them for you, and about learning for them. Also, candles can be inherently dangerous due to the fire portion of it. Suggest that they make them and send it Uncle Bob and Aunt Martha as a present which show them how fun giving is.You do not want them burning them in their room. If they want to make one for themselves here is an easy solution do not put a wick in it and call them the “wickless candle for kids” You can also put fragrance in them. Many people call the wickless candles, air fresheners. It is the same stuff. You can put a bunch of fragrance in it and it covers up the smelly sneaker smell in their room. There is a caution on using the fragrance which we will cover.

Second Step, Materials

If you do not plan on making a bunch of these I suggest getting a kit from your local crafts store. You are going to be making gel candles and that is what you should ask for when you look for them. The kit should include the following. Candle gel, Glass containers, candle thermometer, wicks and complete instructions. It will probably also come with things called embeds. Almost all of these premade kits are aquatic themed meaning. You will get a fish, a seashell and some sand. You can get great info at www.candletech.com if you want to make more. It is endless what you can do with this type of candle making. I have found them to be very helpful and informative. Also you will need a couple of pots or metal pans to melt your gel.

Third Step, Preparation

Clean off a kitchen table. Like with all crafts you need room for all this creating. Gel candle making is a lot like cooking. It is all about timing, good ingredients and you must be a little patient.

Forth Step, Execution

1)Have the kids break up the gel into little pieces and place it in your melting pot. This lets the kids get their hands into it and it feels gooey. No real mess for mom. Some candle makers recommend using a double boiler system. What that means is you have a large pan with water in it and bring it to a boil then take a pot with the gel in it and place that in the boiling water. The water can not get hotter than 220 deg F because that is boiling point. That way you never have an issue with the gel catching on fire from being to hot. You do not want the gel getting hotter than 200 deg. That is why you always use your candle thermometer. You really do not need to heat your gel any higher than 180 for this application. DO NOT USE A MICROWAVE TO HEAT YOUR GEL!!! The safest easiest way to melt your gel is to get a Presto pot. The Presto Pot is given that name for obvious reasons. This is a great way melt you gel and not have the mess. Plus they are very inexpensive at around $30.00 and you can reuse it make and make more candles or air fresheners. Or melt regular wax for conventional candles.

2) Next you need to place your wick into the glass container. Dip the tab end of your wick in the hot gel let is stand for a couple of seconds and cool then place in the bottom of the glass container so adheres to the glass. Place it in the middle. I suggest you push down on the tab with a pencil to make it stick to the glass good.

3) Into the melted gel pour the GloNation glow in the dark powder. One ounce will make one pound of gel glow like crazy. You at this time can add gel coloring and fragrance. You should only use fragrance that is made for gel candles. This is important! And do not use too much. Read how much to add from any good gel candle making web site. You need to stir this mixture to circulate the glow powder into the gel. Use a heat resistant spatula from the local dollar store. Pour the gel into the glass container with the wick. Remember it is hot so be careful. Do not let the kids do this! You can alter the Presto Pot and add a spout to make the pouring easier. Let it cool and you have a glow in the dark candle.

I hope you enjoy this project with your children as it is fun and you can make it profitable.

Being single in the world where you get couples in every bar and nightclub can be a lonely feeling. I personally know of 3 without a girlfriend friends who go on dates each day and each month they are depressed because they are still without a girlfriend. In London there are a substantial assortment of phenomenal escorts, these eye-opening call girls are the perfect offering to give yourself if you are without a partner.

Call girls in the capital city of the UK are magnificent and elegant and have a high education making them excellent companions as well as awesome lovers. The escorts in London are oftentimes more high priced than anyplace else like Leeds, the reason for this is the working girls tend to be of a higher class. Check out our Naughty Girls from Lucy Bond for the hottest escorts.

Working girls have been made celebrated with the tv show Secret Diary with the elegant Billie Piper. Secret Diary is a top rated tv show in the United Kingdom and many males have seen it and have now booked a working girl.

The way Brandon Dupsky tells it, he was just an ordinary small town boy growing up in Nebraska where it was all cornfields and cattle.

In 1998 he started selling a few items from his basement - primarily his old record collection and was surprised at how much money he could make from items that were worth so little elsewhere.

Soon, Brandon was buying cheap stuff from garage sales, auctions - stuff that other people considered as junk - and selling it at a profit on eBay. As he really did live in a small town, pretty soon he had exhausted his local sources and needed to find other sources of products to sell online.

His initial approach to the local business community bombed - no-one at his local Chamber of Commerce was interested in selling off their excess stock. However, he got his first opportunity to sell online came from a local businessman who had heard his presentation and hoped to use Brandon to sell an unwanted order of spy equipment. This was his first offer and Brandon wasn’t going to turn it down!

He duly photographed the equipment which was about the size of the truck and put it up on eBay. However, he has also asked this businessman if he had any other stock that was surplus to his requirements and it just so happened that this guy had a few pieces of electronic equipment for sale. Using his eBay selling techniques, Brandon managed to sell all of these and the rest, as they say, is history!

It is a well-document piece of information that Brandon Dupsky, the boy from Nebraska, made over $8 million last year, that’s over $20,000 dollars every day.

With $86 million in sales every day on eBay, and sales increasing at over 60% per year. Not only that, but eBay is not the single largest marketplace online. No-one can afford to ignore this fast-growing internet market!

Yet, despite his success, Brandon is just a regular guy - he’s quiet and unassuming, yet speaks with a passion about his field of expertise in selling eBay products.

Brandon was speaking at the Internet Millionaire’s Protégé Bootcamp in London. You can find out more on setting up your home internet business at, visit home based internet business.

Walk through any thrift store and you’re bound to bump into an eBay Powerseller or two replenishing their eBay inventory. The truth is there are still good bargains available at thrift stores for resale on eBay if you’re astute enough to spot them.

While it’s true you’ll probably pay more at a thrift store than you would at a garage sale, the prices for some items are still low enough for you to make a decent profit. The key, of course, is to do enough research on eBay to know what types of used items are hot sellers. And, I don’t mean a quick little glance. I mean really do your homework.

For example, if you’re interested in buying and selling used men’s shirts, go to eBay and perform searches for “used men’s shirt,” “nearly new shirt,” “gently worn” and all the other synonyms you can find for “used.” Go through the “vintage” category and the “collectibles - cultures, ethnicities” for Hawaiian shirts. Research the labels. Note any patterns and colors. Do some sizes sell better than others? (I always found I had a harder time selling men’s shirts in size small).

Do the same type of research with all the used items you may find at a thrift store: clothing, shoes, boots (especially used cowboy boots), purses, books (don’t ignore cookbooks - they can sometimes sell very well, especially the Betty Crocker Pie Cover cookbook).

When you find a thrift store or two (or, hopefully, more) that offers good quality used products go back often as new items are added every day.

With used clothing it’s very important to thoroughly check for any tears or stains, because once you buy it, it’s yours, you can’t take it back. I once bought several collectible Hawaiian shirts I had checked for tears and stains, but failed to check the collars. When I got them home I found they all had a bad case of “ring around the collar” which didn’t come out in the wash. Of course, I had to disclose that in my descriptions on eBay. The shirts sold, but for less than what they could have sold for in better condition. Also, check for any odors that may be tough to get out with washing or dry cleaning. (Do make sure you wash or dry clean all used clothing you list on eBay.)

While it’s true that used clothing and other items do sell well on eBay, your research will help you spot items with which you’ll actually make a profit. There’s a thought out there among some that you can slap anything on eBay and make money. Not true. If you don’t do your research you may find yourself losing money. Don’t just assume there’s a sucker born every minute and that anything will sell on eBay. Without proper research you might end up finding out the sucker is you.

When it comes down to it, the success or failure of an Ebay auction often rests upon its listing. Creating effective and appropriate listing content may seem frivolous or boring, however, it really is essential in connecting potential customers to your product. Your sales depend upon the time and effort you invest in marketing your product. When you are selling on Ebay, “marketing” largely becomes “listing strategies.”

One effective method is to create multiple auctions for spelling variations. Let’s face it, many people either don’t know how to spell or suffer the occasional typo. By listing with alternate spellings, you eliminate that as a factor separating you from your customer. For example, lacrosse equipment could be permutated into, “la crosse,” “lax,” lacross,” etc. List several to reach the widest viewership. Beyond that, many items may have grammatically correct but varied ways of spelling. Therefore, if you have multiple quantities of the same item for sale, it may be effective to list all of them separately with varied spellings.

Before anything else, you will want to prune that listing title into something concise and informative. Avoid using useless adjectives such as “AMAZING,” and interjections like “WOW.” None of those are effective, and no one enters those terms when searching. They are simply a waste of valuable space. You only have 55 characters, so make them count. Imagine what people would type when searching for your item. Stick to targeted keywords that will connect you to the proper audience.

Your listing’s item description is also important and should similarly include appropriate keywords, since some users search by description. At the same time, though, creating easy to read and engaging text is essential. Buyers obviously want to be as well informed about something as possible before they pay for it. Your description needs to be as thorough if you want to lock up that potential sale. In fact, it’s better to include way too much information rather than not enough. Buyers hate having to ask questions about an item they are interested in. They’ll usually just move on to the next auction.

You don’t have to be an expert copy-writer to compose an item description that will persuade potential customers to buy your product. But there are a few things to remember. Breaking up your text into small, easily digestible paragraphs is softer on the eyes and allows the reader to scan. Also, be sure to avoid a detached, business-talk tone. Write in a conversational manner that readers can relate to and quickly understand.

Finally, consider using color and graphics. Don’t go overboard, be sparing and tasteful, but at the same time avoid a monotonous and binary look. As always, less is more when creating a visual scheme. Stick to primary colors and professional looking graphics.

Ebay auctions should be treated just like any other online marketing venture. They require careful attention and effort if you want to generate serious profits. By bearing the aforementioned factors in mind as a starting point, you can move forward in continuing to optimize your Ebay auctions and online success.
